What can I measure?
Measure your circuits with this two probe voltage tester. Eight LED indicators give you the range of the voltage and an audible buzzer sounds if the voltage is above 50V. The tester will give you the polarity of a DC source where the voltage is over 12V. A continuity tester lights up a LED and sounds a buzzer when it detects system continuity. When you use the tester as a single pole the devices can indicate the presence of AC voltage.
What other features does this voltage tester have?
As you measure the voltage, all indicator lights up to your level will light – for example if you are measuring 55V then the 12V, 24V and 50V indicators will light. Before use, touch the two poles together for a quick battery check. If they do not make an audible sound, then change the batteries for a new set. The voltage tester is powered by two AAA batteries and has an operating duty cycle of being 12.5 per cent. This means that the tester will be on for 30 seconds and then off for four minutes, or on for one minute and off for eight if used for shorter bursts. Even with dead batteries the tester will indicate if a voltage source larger than 50V is present with the ELV LED.
